At Norton Children’s Hospital, we place a premium on the highest level of training. What sets us apart from most is that our anesthesiologists are board-certified in anesthesiology and have additional extensive subspecialty training in pediatric anesthesia. Our physicians bring fellowship experience from many of the best children ‘s hospitals across the nation. We have physicians skilled at regional anesthesia techniques, complementary medicine and care of complex congenital heart disease to name a few. We are the only group of pediatric anesthesia healthcare providers in the region that care exclusively for children and together we have over 150 years of pediatric anesthesia experience.

You might say that our training never ends. We are continually educating ourselves and the many anesthesia residents, ER residents, pediatrics residents and medical students who rotate through Norton Children ‘s Hospital. We strive to stay at the forefront of our field and to help shape the future of anesthetic care for children through various ongoing research efforts.
