The day before your child’s scheduled surgery, a nurse will call you with general instructions on preoperative fasting guidelines, medication management and to answer any questions you may have.

For procedures at Kosair Children’s Hospitals patients and families will be registered on the ground floor and are asked to arrive 90 minutes prior to their scheduled surgery time.

For procedures at Kosair Children’s Medical Center-Brownsboro families should arrive 45 minutes ahead of scheduled surgery time for patient registration on the first floor.
