The pediatric acupuncture service provides treatment and support for acute and chronic pain problems in children. It includes the pediatric acupuncture clinic as well as inpatient consultations at Kosair Children’s Hospital. The Pediatric Acupuncture Clinic is the only physician-based acupuncture practice in Kentucky that focuses solely on children. The clinic is open two afternoons a week and is run by Dr. Edin Jusufbegovic, M.D. a pediatric anesthesiologist with specialty training in acupuncture.

A Pediatric Acupuncture Clinic is open two afternoons a week at Kosair Children's Hospital. It is the only physician-based acupuncture practice in Kentucky that focuses on children and is covered by insurance. Edin Jusufbegovic, M.D. and Ann Marie Reynolds M.D., pediatric anesthesiologists with special training in acupuncture, treat chronic pain conditions such as musculoskeletal pain, headache, fibromyalgia and recurrent abdominal pain, as well as chemotherapyinduced and postoperative nausea and vomiting.
