The pediatric acupuncture service provides treatment and support for acute and chronic pain problems in children. It includes the pediatric acupuncture clinic as well as inpatient consultations at Kosair Children’s Hospital. The Pediatric Acupuncture Clinic is the only physician-based acupuncture practice in Kentucky that focuses solely on children. The clinic is open two afternoons a week and is run by Dr. Edin Jusufbegovic, M.D. a pediatric anesthesiologist with specialty training in acupuncture.
